A friendly wave is given from the engineer of the Eastbound California Zephyr. The train is descending Thompson hill and engineer Daryl Pugh is at the controls for his last Eastbound trip before retirement. This trip caps an end to his over 40 year career that began with the ATSF in Winslow, Arizona.
