On a winter afternoon, the sound of EMD and Alco power hard at work fills the air as an F7/RS3/RS3/SD40 lashup grinds up Williamsport Hill with an eastbound Western Maryland coal train. Four more locomotives in the form of the WM's quartet of Alco FA2s are pushing hard on the rear.
