Farewell to the Pacific Parlour Cars. February 2 marked the last northbound departure and February 4 will be the last ever southbound departure before these cars are retired after 26 years of Pacific Parlour Car service. These cars started life as Santa Fe Hi-Level lounge cars, built in 1956, and only served the Santa Fe for 15 years. This shot shows the iconic exterior logo.
