After torrential thunderstorms overnight, a washout occurred on the Norfolk Southern Lake Erie District near North East, PA. NS detoured trains over the CSX main between Buffalo, NY and Ashtabula, OH while repairs were made. Here, NS 309 travels as CSX X803 and clears CP 83 in Erie, passing by a pair of ex-CSX B40-8's set out on the Scale Track in the Erie Yard.
