Remarks & Notes
A trio of three year old GP39-2s prepare for departure to Bieber, California. In summer 1984, there was still a fair amount of Inside Gateway traffic for Burlington Northern to turn over to Union Pacific. Today, an industrial building in the foreground has eradicated this vantage.
