This is a great little place to have a picnic lunch alongside the Thompson River on the east side of Ashcroft. The CN and CP are back to bidirectional running here. Beyond this point the road turns to gravel and is flanked by large No Trespassing signs. Disappointing for sure, as I had hoped to make it up to the tie plant further up the road.
