While most Superliner Sleepers look nearly identical from the outside, there are six of a kind that are unique on the inside, and are only found on one train. Deluxe Sleeper "Palm Bay" is the class leader of these cars that have a long and straight hallway through the upstairs length of one side of the car to make room for the large bedrooms. These cars operate only in Auto Train service and were ordered in this configuration from Bombardier.
Amtrak's longest train takes passengers and their vehicles on an overnight trip between Florida and the Northeast while eliminating 850 miles of driving. It is popular with snowbirds and families.
