It's a busy morning on the Boston & Maine at Ayer, MA. From right to left are train MERU (Mechanicville, NY, to Rumford, ME, B&M/MEC runthrough) behind second generation power, train EDCO (East Deerfield, MA, to Concord, NH) behind a set of GP9s, and the Ayer switcher, another GP9, waiting for the road jobs to clear so it can get back to work.
