| As the morning light continues to rise, BNSF 2945 and some venerable former Burlington Northern power bring the Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus' Blue Unit equipment out onto the main as they build the train prior to handing the move over to the Union Pacific for the trip south to Los Angeles. Besides the ex-Santa Fe and Burlington Northern power working the yard on this morning, original railroad code lines and even an ex-Santa Fe signal bridge to cap things off...what I take from this photo now looking back on it will be seeing the circus train. As equipment is still being auctioned off here in early 2017, it's quiet easy to see all these things combined will never allow a scene like this to be seen again. |
