| There are much less "Re 10/10" formations on the Gotthard line now, since the trains go through the Base Tunnel. Re 6/6 # 11623 "Rupperswil" and Re 420 # 270 are pulling the heavy steel train 49025 from Emmenbrücke (Swiss Steel) to Lecco in Italy trough Giustizia. This train has still to manage the 2.6 % grade of the Ceneri north ramp from Giubiasco to Rivera-Bironico on its way to Chiasso. |
