Remarks & Notes |
Conrail SA-42 crosses the Raritan River on NJ Transit's River Draw. A pair of former Conrail SD45-2s leads a lengthy consist to Browns Yard in Sayreville. The lead unit has since been retired by CSX. The trailing unit, NS 1705, is still in service as of 2017. This job used to originate in Browns Yard and would return with transfer cars from Oak Island in the early morning and was a precursor to today's OI-16 which typically crosses this bridge in the afternoon. |
