An eastbound Santa Fe intermodal kicks it into high gear along Route 66 between Bagdad and Amboy, California, in the Mojave Desert along Santa Fe’s Needles Subdivision. A pair each of GE B40-8Ws and EMD GP60Ms power the speedster set on the crew change at Needles.
