It is October 27, 2016, and a Texas Gonzales and Northern train has arrived in Gonzales, about 12 miles from the yard in Harwood at the opposite end of the railroad, and is switching grain cars at the Tyson Foods grain elevator. Power for this train is TXGN "SW10" 105, a 1952 product of EMD. This engine was originally Western Pacific 605, and was later acquired by Union Pacific when the UP merged with WP and MP. It was rebuilt into one of the UP's SW10 switchers, with the distinctive raised radiator section, and numbered UP 1273. It was eventually sold to TXGN, which numbered it 97 before changing it to 105.
