Due to increasing train lengths, Norfolk Southern and Delaware-Lackawanna have been interchanging at the south end of Portland rather than in the small yard at Slateford Jct. Here the PT power has coupled up to the NS drop under the Columbia-Portland toll bridge at 4:30PM. They will soon depart as PT-97 with Lehigh Valley heritage C420 414 leading the Alco fleet back to Scranton.
