Built originally for the Duluth Winnipeg & Pacific Railway, Wimpey Minerals USA employed this Alco RS-11 for several years during the early 1990s to handle switching at the limestone quarry in Annville, Pennsylvania. WIMX 360 started life as DWP 3606 and then went to the Central Vermont as CV 3606; Quincy Terminal 3606 in 1985, to WW in 10/88; and finally to WIMX 360 in March of 1991. The WIMX GP9 #1 - ex-Broyhill and previously ex-C&O - was the previous mainstay for power prior to the arrival of the Alco.
