Trains on Canadian National's Mountain Park Subdivision usually get some the newest power the railroad has to offer, due to the numerous grades. The biggest and baddest grade on the Sub is the 3% Luscar Industrial Spur. The locomotives are in the "sag" that allows for easier loading, while the rear of the train is draped over the 2.7%.
