Remarks & Notes

The sound of the Cheakamus River rushing through the canyon is the only thing that can be heard for miles, that is until a northbound CN pierces the silence as it climbs upgrade. Five locomotives lead the way along the former BC Rail line through the Cheakamus Canyon on what almost appears to be an impossible terrain for a railway to cut through. This was my first time visiting the location, and it was simply breathtaking.
