| Oh my, what a chase for this one!
Eastbound oil train CSX K080-05 with a BNSF "Fakebonnet" Dash 9 at the lead passes the South Charleston Amtrak station on a cool February night.
This was the second attempt of the night, the first one about 25 miles east in Hurricane. After the flashes died on the first attempt, we were able to make it from there to South Charleston (with a stop at Walmart for batteries) with less than 2 minutes to set up. Guess that's the exciting part of railroad photography! |
