| Another era will soon draw to a close. The last remaining SP signals on UP's Mojave Sub through the famous Tehachapi Pass are slated to be replaced by the end of the month. This includes the signal bridge north of Mojave which for decades has set the scene for many photographers. BNSF Stockton to Chicago intermodal Q-STOCHI6-31L, operating on UP trackage as their "6ISTCHJ 31," heads downgrade under the structure in nice early morning light. |
