A westbound (northbound) freight passes the Howell Depot. The depot has been maintained and serves as a museum. Although the depot is still as it is in the photo, and there is no brush growing in this spot, this shot is now impossible as the depot has acquired a GTW wood caboose for restoration and display. 35mm slide from my collection, photo by Bill Clynes.
