Remarks & Notes

Another one of Amtrak's newest locomotives was on display at National Train Day 2014, coupled to Conference Club Car 9800. This Genset was formerly SW1000r #799, and was completely transformed by NRE. It is now 50% more fuel efficient and looks nothing like its former self, including a 3 foot extension to the frame.
