Remarks & Notes |
The temperature is hovering around 5ºF as a morning eastbound NJT commuter train crosses the Raritan River viaduct. This train has just departed New Brunswick Station on the Northeast Corridor and in about 45 minutes will terminate at New York Penn Station. The river is coated with a layer of ice the day after yet another snow storm blanketed the region. NJ Transit operated on a weekend/holiday schedule system-wide on this day due to the aftereffects of the storm and severe cold. NJT 4664 is notable as the highest-numbered ALP-46 on the roster and is seen here operating in "push" mode. |
