Over the years, the former WAGR/Westrail and now owner Aurizon has held the rail contract to transport the bulk of Western Australia's major grain handler CBH's grain to port. CBH have since contracted American compnay Watco to operate their trains which has brought to an end the era of WAGR/Westrail rollingstock working grain trains throughout the state. Here on a sunny winter's morning DAZ1901 is seen working 4382 empty XNW and XW grain hoppers from West Merredin to Avon Yard in what is likely to be the last ever train out of the West Merredin district with former WAGR/Westrail rollingstock.
From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
