| This manifest train passing though Muri station (now closed) is nearly at the end of an overnight 420 miles run from Westfield (Auckland) to Wellington. The DX class entered service from 1972 and most have been rebuilt. DXB denotes Brightstar electronic traction control has been fitted. |
