A trio of N&W units sit outside the CN shop at Fort Erie, ON.
These units were captive in Canada and ran on the old Wabash line through Southern Ontario as a bridge between Buffalo, NY and Detroit, MI. The 3725 started life as Wabash 1189 and was renumbered 725 in 1960 and became N&W 3725 in 1965. The light gray paint on the upper body is a holdover from the Wabash paint scheme.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
