| Westbound Union Pacific coal empty blasting its way at track speed past downtown Pacific on an absolutely perfect mid October afternoon. This was just one of the many trains that a large group of us railfans observed during the course of the day as we got together at nearby Pacific Station Plaza, which will become a railfan park and viewing area in the near future. The white building just to the left of the lead locomotive will be a Route 66 Railfan Visitor Center. Nikon D200 |
