| A once common scene in Western countries, now only to be seen in China: regular, every-day steam shunting at the slag pit of the Beitai steel mill in China´s Liaoning province. Immediately after dropping the slag, cold water will be sprayed over the hot slag, covering the entire slag area in billowing steam. © www.tanago.de |
