| Remarks & Notes  |
| A southbound Seward export coal train rolls along the waters of Turnagain Arm south of Anchorage. The terrain here is easy going for the six SD70MACs (3 on head end, 3 on rear in DP mode) but south of Portage the train will battle two separate climbs. The first challenge comes at Grandview featuring 14 degree curves and 3% grades and the second at Divide featuring 2+% grades before dropping back down to the coastal city of Seward for unloading. |
