| The MA&N's Utica crew returns to the Mohawk Valley after delivering a rare boxcar to Lyons Falls. The covered hoppers behind the locomotive are from Boonville. Service to the northern end of this line (Lyons Falls) remains sporadic due to the closing of the Lyons Falls Pulp and Paper mill ten years ago; yet the railroad has certainly not given up on its northern operations. The log cabin above the train is indicative of the forest products area this railroad serves. |
