At the time when we took this shot we had no idea of the tragedy taking place in New York City. Everyone remembers 9/11 and where they were. It is 8:50a.m. on September 11, 2001 and we are following QCM 84 south toward Port-Cartier. Because all radio in the area was in French, it wouldn't be until 9:00p.m. that night that we learned of the day's tragic events.
