CNJ GP7s 1532 & 1529 head north at South Amboy with a long hopper car train of sand. PRR K4s 830 was sitting behind me on the siding awaiting a train from New York. GP7 1532 was leading the commuter train that plunged off the opened Newark Bay bridge on September 15, 1958 . Two GP7s and three coaches went into the water and many were killed.
