Remarks & Notes

After crossing the Canadian River at Logan, the three speed lettered GP's are making slow but steady progress on the up hill climb on the "Cotton Rock". The former Rock Island portion of the "Golden State Route". The route parallels US highway 54, Tucumcari is a few more miles on west.
