A w/b BN unit coal train, running on the IC, hits the former CRI&P diamonds at JUS. The motive power is typical late eighties BN: SD40-2's and C30-7's.
NF&D RS-36 #2 sits outside the roundhouse at Lambert's Point.
NJT e/b 1156 is on the Rockland Running track, adjacent to the two main tracks, and is ready to enter Suffern station for the trip east. U34CH 4154 is providing the power on the rear. The cab ca... (more)
B&O SD9 1837 works the east end of Hagerstown yard on a mild winter day.
This morning's Hagerstown yard east end switcher is C&O GP35 3574. Chessie paint kinda struck me as gaudy but with all the Class 1's in the US boiled down to half a dozen rr's, I miss it.

A dirty SBD GP40 6803, former L&N 3006, is at the Corbin engine facility on a sunny spring morning.

A pair of former CNJ passenger GP7's, 5907 and 5905, scoot west through West End in the PM rush.
NJT w/b 1605 with U34CH 4169 heads towards the graveyard while Arrow II 1287 and three others heads west on the M&E at West End interlocking.
Here's one of the reasons why railroads went from cupolas to wide-vision bay window cabooses: 86 foot hi-cube boxcars like N&W 860837 on Conrail POPI entering Conway yard with CR 21255 bringing up... (more)
This BCR s/b has M630W 724 and M420B 687 as mid-train helpers passing through Whistler, BC.
