CN 3023, CN’s EJ&E Heritage Unit, was close to derailing after its train picked a switch north of JB Tower in West Chicago.

Just after Midnight on May 2nd, 2021, two storage buildings located at Amtrak’s Beech Grove Shops burst into flames. Luckily, firefighters were able to put out the fire without any injuries.
