Bowie is the end of the line for the Arizona Eastern. This is where they interchange with the UP. The 102 lead them into Bowie but the TNMR 100 will lead them back to Claypool.

Hitting nearly 70 mph many times, the 844 races at full speed downhill toward Bowie, AZ and an unscheduled whistle stop.

The 80" tall drivewheels dwarf a worker performing maintenance after the 844 arrived from Tucson.
