The rotaries are entering Truckee, CA after a long day getting over Donner Pass.

The Union Pacific has sent the rotaries up to Donner Pass to train crews. At Bowman, CA, they've stopped briefly to allow the eastbound CA Zephyr to go by.
After a break for some servicing, the rotaries rev up again to head east to Truckee, CA for their overnight stay and then return the following day to do #1 track.

While I was waiting for the rotaries to show up the spreader came along and shoved snow onto the #2 track for the rotary to send over the bank.
SP rotary 207 is done for the day and clean up has begun. Steam generated by the on-board steam generator is used to clean out crevasses and blades.
The flanger is about to head west from Truckee, CA.
