Tennessee Pass through the former zinc mining operation at Belden. A very interesting and unique place, and well worth the short hike in along the tracks.
A beautiful area on an equally pretty Spring day, yet this location is a haunting reminder of days gone by. What a welcome sight it would be to see a train rumbling along these tracks once again.
The back of UP 5837 pushes east toward Granby. These signs give at least some warning at this dangerous crossing, despite an obvious spelling issue.
Passengers are nearing the end of their trip, as they move east through the gorge on the way back to the Depot.

A gorgeous day for a ride through the Royal Gorge. Incredibly warm temperatures, and bright blue skies make the experience even more enjoyable as we head west away from the Depot.
The Leadville Colorado and Southern is returning back to the station after its daily run. Passengers ride the train to the top of Fremont Pass and back. The trip lasts just under three hours.
