After getting held up in Mayflower, and putting this train 8 hours behind schedule, NS local U41 finally runs through the natural tunnel on its return trip to Andover shortly after 11pm.
Shortly after 9:30 am, NS P23 runs south through a field just north of the small town of Bear Poplar NC. Leading this train is NS 5642, which as been stuck on this local for a couple of weeks now.
CSX B670 flies around the curve at Mt. Holly NC, passing the spring switch indicator at NE Duke. This signal just means that the spring switch is lined for mainline movement, so it's always green.
