Spring arrived with warm days and golden morning sun, just the trees have to catch up now, to soon frame the morning commuter from Candiac with their leaves.

Candiac to Montreal commuter train no. 72 passes over Highway 20, just in fron of CAD Railway Indistries, with VIA's stripped HEP cars in the yard.

After a cold night some ice is floating on the Saint-Lawrence river at LaSalle as EXO 72, pulled by F59PHI no. 1324, crosses over to the island of Montreal not too long after sunrise.

The morning sun brightly illuminates one of the last runs of EXO's Comet fleet as it's crossing the Lachine Canal on CP's Adirondack subdivision.
