Approaching the town of Mojave, Union Pacific's EC-4 track inspection car has finished making its rounds over the Tehachapi mountains, and will soon make a run up the Lone Pine Sub toward Searles.
Coming into Palmer Lake I was not expecting to see this, and I only had a second to jump out of the car and snap one or two quick shots.
