Time goes by, it's time to farewell DF11 locomotive on Hong Kong Intercity Through Trains. A type of Chinese locomotive which accompanies me everytime I go railfanning in the past.

A northbound through passenger train exits a partially covered section of track and enters a heavy band of rain. Thankfully I am covered by the station platform!

T816 is close to the Chinese border as it parallels the Fanling Highway, Route 9. Since it is a Sunday traffic on the highway is light, but the MTR East Rail Line is busy as always.

CNR Intercity trains are listed as "non-stopping" on KCR station signs because they do just that...until they reach the main terminal at Hung Hom. This one is passing through Sha Tin Station.
