A northbound piggyback train with only one unit on a great snow covered day. A step or two the left and there's the water.

Just a little snow on the ground from the storm the day before, as BNSF 6216 moves SB through Palmer Lake.

With their train cut off and headed south the crewman is returned to make the moves to get the caboose back on the rear prior to heading north for another push.

From the twists, dips and turns of Highway 105, this particular curve offers a wonderful view of BNSF 5914 making its way SB along the Joint Line.

From across the lake, UP 6770 is seen moving SB after a small snowstorm leaves just enough snow to cover the ground.
