On a crisp morning a Loram rail grinder lights up the west slope of MRL's Bozeman Pass just before dawn. The grinder is moving west and the track still steams where it had just passed over.
Claps of thunder are drowned out by ninety-six EMD cylinders, struggling up the West slope of Bozeman Pass with a heavy manifest destined for Laurel. Montana mountain railroading at its finest!
A double set of Helpers just finished shoving a Manifest up the West side of Bozeman hill and will now switch to aid in braking as they transverse to top of Bozeman pass heading towards Livingston... (more)
