I'm assuming they were fixing a broken rail some place on the Lakes Sub as there were pieces of rail on the flats.

Man I love these engines... creeping very close to my favorite engine of all time, which still remains as the SD40-2.

A pair of ACes lead this edition of the M-SUPGFD.

The blue flags are up in front of dozens of train sets waiting for Monday's amazing choreography of this well oiled machined known as Metra. All the tracks funnel in at Aurora.

SD70ACes were in high numbers along the Staples Sub this day... and it was darn cold too. This DPU pushes on coal loads as wind driven snow flurries around.
