Continuing West, UP 5728 is just about to pass into the viaduct that will take it under I-80 and back onto the double track at Emigrant Gap.
UP 5092 and another SD70M lead the day's only eastbound Z-train up Donner Pass at around 7:30am, passing the old railroad facility at Emigrant Gap, complete with boxcar station (far right).
