IC 1028 leads L589 across the former Milwaukee Road bridge spanning the Wisconsin River at Lake Du Bay.
A nice leader on the empty grain train. I miss the days when the IC SD70s dominated the railroad through Illinois and Iowa.

Empty grain train heads west over the hilly terrain of Iowa. The steam from the Big River Resources LLC ethanol plant west of Dyersville can be seen filling the sky behind the lead locomotive.
