The crew works late into the night to clear a derailment in the WSOR yard in Janesville out front of the roundhouse. The covered hopper is SOU 92397 and was loaded with sand.

WOSR Train T-5 put's together tonight's train to go up to Madison, WI.

Shortly after sunrise a southbound 302 with the WSOR 4077 rolls through Three Rivers and Across the St. Joseph River as it heads for the Interchange with the NS at Elkhart.

Wisconsin & Southern's T-002 makes a very rare daylight appearance, closing in on BRC's Clearing Yard with a delightful quad of SD40-2's.

A trio of WSOR SD40-2s have their hands full with a long Horicon - Janesville train as they climb a slight hill on the trip southwest to Milton.

WSOR 4053 & 4008 lead T005 out of Janesville in a downpour of snow across the very odd Highway 14 and Kennedy Ave. railroad crossing.

My last spot in the Chase was just south of Schoolcraft where the train is back to running track speed. Nice to see some WSOR power in Michigan and being able to chase on a nice day!

After snaking through town, 302 is notched out as they climb up hill and try to get back up to track speed.

Minus the Watco GP this could be just another winters day in Wisconsin, well for now. But instead 4077 is one of two WSOR SD40's sent to the GDLK in the last week or two to help get freight moving... (more)
