UP 844 is getting underway after stopping briefly west of Brady NE.

UP 844 roars down the Midlothian Sub through southeast Ft. Worth.

On its way to the Midlothian Sub, UP 844 meets gensets just south of Tower 55.

Took the whole family out for this train chase. It was my youngest son's first train watching experience. He's 4 weeks old.

The UP 844 puts on a good show as it climbs the grade just north of Midlothian Texas on it's way to Hearne Tx. to tie up for the day.

UP 844 has been spotted for the night and locomotive servicing will soon commence as a swarm of railfans and the general public walk around this magnificent engine.

UP 844 pulls into the first whistle-stop of the day at Ennis, TX. A patch of bluebonnets in the foreground made for a nice contrast to the big Norhtern.
