#40 reverses to couple to its coaches for the 11:00 a.m. run to Lahaska.

In a scene reminiscent of a Johnny Krause photograph, #40 charges over Neshaminy Creek in perfect sunlight, as her leafy surroundings signal the beginning of fall foliage season.

No. 40 is being serviced prior to the 4:00 pm departure.

No. 40's tender is being filled with water, in preparation for the 4:00 p.m. train.

NHIR 40 leads the 1PM train south over the second and less photographed bridge at Hood on a hot day in Bucks County, PA.

Freshly outshopped, #40 hustles south along the Aquetong Creek with three coaches bound for Lahaska and return. The creek was suprisingly warm for June but the week of 80 degree days helped.
