Up 1989, the Rio Grande heritage unit, leads a short Z-Train out of the "Big Hole" tunnel on the famous Donner Pass
UP 1989 leads the Z-CSLT over the "hill" on a perfect summer day. Thiis train has just exited the snow shed at Norden with ski lifts above sitting idle in the warm July sun.
